More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
In addition to five years of nannying children from newborns to 15 years old, I have experience teaching a pod learning group of six children ages 2–3, where I planned educational activities and supported their learning and development. I also studied elementary education, giving me a strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate learning. In my current role as a part-time family assistant, I continue to support families by helping with childcare, household organization, meal preparation, laundry, and other daily tasks to keep the home running smoothly.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love planning fun and engaging activities that help children learn and grow. Some of my favorite activities include arts and crafts, reading books, sensory play, outdoor adventures, trips to the park, nature walks, baking, puzzles, building with blocks, imaginative play, music and dancing, and educational games. I also enjoy helping with homework, practicing early learning skills, and creating age-appropriate activities that encourage creativity, confidence, and independence. Most importantly, I enjoy building strong, trusting relationships with children and making sure they feel safe, supported, and have fun every day.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and supportive environment where children feel comfortable being themselves. I believe it's important to build a strong, trusting relationship with both the children and their parents through open communication, consistency, and reliability. Every child is unique, so I strive to be patient, encouraging, and attentive to their individual needs while helping them learn, grow, and gain confidence each day.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite moments as a nanny is watching children accomplish something they've been working hard to learn. Whether it's hearing a baby's first words, seeing a toddler gain confidence trying something new, or helping an older child master a new skill, those milestones are incredibly rewarding. I love being someone they can trust, learn from, and have fun with, and it's special to know I've played a small part in their growth and development.

Hi! I’m Jocelyn and I’m currently a stay at home mom. I have two sons ages 4 and 6.
I absolutely love working with children. Every spare time I have with my kids, I use it to advance their education by teaching them about what they will be learning the next school year. If we’re not learning, we are staying active by making fun activities or going to new places. I enjoy staying organized and building a positive relationship with children and families. For me, going above and beyond is just a part of who I am. Please message me if you’re interested.
