I’ve worked with kids in a few different settings. I was a personal soccer trainer, worked at youth soccer camps, and worked in an after-school program with students from kindergarten through 6th grade. I really enjoyed getting to know the kids, helping them build confidence, and making sure they had a fun and safe environment.

I love playing outside, going to the park, doing arts and crafts, reading, and playing board games. In my after-school program, I also ran the chess club, which was a fun way to help kids build confidence, think through challenges, and enjoy learning something new. I'm always happy to help with homework or simply spend time playing and keeping kids engaged.

I think the most important thing about being a nanny is building a trust and bond with both the children and parents. I'm a very family-oriented person, so having some sort of connection with people that I'm going to see on a constant basis is very big for me.

Even though I haven't been a nanny before, one of my favorite moments working with kids was during the after-school program. I loved seeing the kids get excited when it was time for chess club. Watching them learn something new, cheer each other on, and become more confident each week was really rewarding. It was fun getting to know their personalities and being someone they looked forward to seeing after school.
