A little bit about me

Hello I am a young healthcare professional who has been impacted by recent federal cuts. I was born in Miami, FL and grew up jumping back and forth from Miami and Washington DC. I grew up lifeguarding, coaching track and basketball, and leading as many book clubs as possible.

I came down to NC for undergrad and there I met my husband. After grad school my husband and I moved to Charlotte.

As I continue my job hunt I thought about what other ways I could give back to my community, and contribute to society. I love cooking, teaching, and organizing activities - I considered becoming a teacher before organic chemistry found me - which pointed me in this direction. I pride myself in being good at math and am fluent in Spanish in case homework help is needed.

Although I do not have any “professional” experience in childcare. I am the oldest of three siblings and oldest of eight cousins. I babysat for neighbors all throughout high school. (Ages 3 months - 8 years of age).
