I was a prior nanny to two twin boys and loved every second of it! I have also worked in a day care for years and I have done a lot of volunteer work and babysitting throughout the years.

I have all sorts of activities I could do with children, indoor and outdoor. I love to have fun but also to help them learn new things! In the past I’ve done arts and crafts, scavenger hunts, park runs, zoo trips. Etc.

The most important part about being a nanny...
When I was a prior nanny, I had a little boy who continuously cried when I put him down for nap time. After awhile I ended up going back in there, took him out of his crib, laid him across my chest, and rocked him to sleep. Within minutes he fell asleep in my arms. Sometimes the little things remind me how much value I can bring into these children’s lives and that inspires me to continue on in this industry. I’ll never forget that memory.
