Hi, I'm Isabella. I used to be in college to become a teacher but had to leave due to Covid 19. I started babysitting around 14 so I have roughly 9 years of experience. And 7 of those years I was helping my mother raise my little brother. But I only have about a year as a paid teacher. I was a lifeguard for 5 summers, so I'm CPR certified and have first aid training.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

As mentioned I was in school to be teacher and actually managed to get an after school job through Buff State (my college at the time) to teach art to pre-k through 8th grade. My after school classes mostly consisted of 2nd-4th graders and 7th/8th graders at different times but I also had to cover for the other teacher with my own classroom at the same time so multiple children of different ages at the same time isn’t out of my control

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Outside time when it’s nice is always fun and good for them but I’m also a fan of puzzles and board games. Dress up and fantasy play is also good option for rainy days. There are also tons of engaging academic activities that we could explore if your child needs tutoring. Lastly well I’m not great at them, for older children I can also play video games or even help them explore hobbies they have such as D&D or musical instruments (I’m not a teacher of those though)

The most important part about being a nanny...

As cliche as it sounds, the kids. They’re the future and I’ve always enjoyed engaging with their minds.
