The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments was helping a child who struggled with reading confidence finally finish his very first chapter book. We made a game out of trading off reading pages, using silly character voices to keep it fun and stress-free. The moment he turned the final page, his face lit up with absolute pride, and he immediately ran to show his parents what he had accomplished. Being able to celebrate that huge milestone with him and watch his confidence skyrocket was a powerful reminder of why I love working with kids.
