Instead, I chose to work in Hong Kong as a domestic helper for 6 years. My first employer was a Canadian family, and I was taking care of 2 and 3 year old boys. They were very active and adorable, and would always ask me to read books whenever we were free and before their afternoon nap. They loved it when I changed my voice to match the characters in the stories.
