Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love outdoor activities, such as going to the park or on walks/hikes. I like to incorporate music, dance, games, and art into my time with children. Usually I try to foster a generally screen-limited environment and instead engage in imaginative play. I am not a nanny who will just sit back and watch, I love being hands on and playing with the kids.

My experience with special needs children...

I started caregiving for an Autistic relative with high support needs at a very young age. I have 10 years of experience working with individuals with all types of disabilities in many settings. Most notably were my experiences serving as a team lead for YoungLife Capernaum, spending 3 summers working at an adaptive summer camp, caregiving jobs for adults and children, and providing respite care. I also have about 3 years of experience working with adults and adolescents with mental health conditions.
