Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I volunteered for 3 years during high school coaching my local cheer club. I worked with girls ages 4-10 and I loved being able to be a role model and mentor to them! In college I nannied for two families for kids ages: 9 months, 1 year old, and 3 years old. from there, I went on to become a camp counselor at camp hollywoodland, and all girls camp from ages 7 to 17. Now I currently nanny a 2 year old boy !

The most important part about being a nanny...
I think the most important aspect of being a nanny is understanding. Being able to understand the kids with will be key to making their experience the best! I feel that many adults misunderstand kids and don't give them the respect they deserve because they are inexperienced or too young, however, understanding kids helps them grow and mature into good people and allows them to form new ideas and discoveries because they know they have a good support system behind that that will listen to their thoughts and help them achieve their goals!
The most important part about being a nanny...
Getting to watch his favorite movie with him (and all his toy versions of the characters.. and in lightning mcqueen pjs!)
