A little bit about me

Hello! Well first of all, I have a passion for kids because I am myself a kid at heart. I've worked as an after school program counselor in which I was responsible for providing a safe and beneficial learning/playing environment.
I ensured that I set a good example and presented myself in a professional manner. I was accountable for making sure the kids completed their homework, had snacks, and used their time to their own benefit. I worked to teach the children good morals and display acceptable behavior to satisfy their parents and their peers. Along with that, I am a lead for the Children's Outreach Program of the American Medical Students Association. I would go to elementary schools every Friday and teach children about the importance of eating healthy foods and living an active lifestyle. Lastly, I am CPR and First Aid certified and am actually an instructor for the Cal Poly CPR Program. I have open availability and am also proficient in Spanish.
