Hello, my name is Ixchel! Pronounced like seashell, without the s— (eashell). I’m a 21- year old college student in pursuit of a career as a speech pathologist assistant!
Im fluent in both English and Spanish and very proud of my Mexican heritage. Im also a big fan of pets— especially cats. My family has six of their own!
I most enjoy doing activities that allow for creation such as cooking, baking, drawing, etc. As for physical activities I love anything that gets my body moving and is fun! I mostly like to dance and go for walks but will partake in a friendly match of soccer here and there.
I believe it’s important to foster the abilities, talents and skills each child has whilst also preparing them to navigate the world one day on their own. I also believe greatly in respecting the culture and customs that each family uniquely has.
