Hello! My name is Iyana. Im a 21-year-old college student with my major being early elementary education and psychology.
I have about 6 years of experience, (4 years babysitting my nieces and nephews and 2 professional).
I teach 2-year-olds from Mon-Fri (occasionally ill step in and teach preschool and pre-k when needed). But I absolutely adore my terrific 2's! They give me so much energy and Im always so excited to walk into class hearing "Hi Ms. Iyana" lol. I'm devoted and passionate about children. I know how to interact, bond, and keep children entertained. I understand every family dynamic is different and I will respect and honor your wishes and values. I'm energetic, creative, trustworthy, patient, and responsible. I will give my full attention to your child/children. I'm able to handle any situation thrown at me (being a 2-year-old teacher, you kind of have to lol).

What matters to me the most about being a nanny is bonding with the kid. It’s about doing something that you actually love doing, rather than doing it to be paid! I love children, and getting to bond with them and build a strong loving connection with them, means the most to me.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The sweetest moment by far has to be when me and one of my 3 year olds that I babysit were playing a game of matching, and he found the matching heart cards. He looked at me and said “NaNa did you know that I love you”. It was just so heart melting, and made me tear up. I think about that moment a lot!
