I have been the Lead Teacher of the Preschool classroom at O2BA Kid Childcare for around the last year or so. Before then, I experienced working within the Infant, Toddler, and Early Pre classrooms within my center as an assistant teacher. I have also had a short amount of time each day, working with the School Age children.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love, love, love to do arts and crafts! Anything hands-on is my type of learning choice. Being able to give a child an activity that is not only stimulating for both their mental and physical skills, but also enjoyable is #1. I have had experience within lesson planning and decision making regarding curriculum.
The most important part about being a nanny...
As I have not yet had the opportunity to nanny, I will express my opinion on the most important part of being a teacher/caregiver. I truly believe the most important, and best, part of teaching my students has been being able to watch them further their development and grow as an individual as the days pass. I have had more classroom "victories" than I can count on all my fingers and toes, from a child spelling their name for the first time to them being able to move up to the Pre-K classroom!
