More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I've worked at a daycare for years.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
For younger kids I like doing sensory time where they can explore & learn things. I don't watch TV nor do I watch movies. On Hands-On with all children doing any and all kinds of fun activities along with learning something in the process of that activity. I would rather have your child doing something that they're going to learn something while having fun. I love doing all kinds of arts and crafts, different age groups require different activities/projects. I don't enjoy being out in bad weather but I love being outdoors when the weather is nice. And I'm not the type of person that will just sit there and watch your child do it I'm going to sit there and do it with them I'm going to be involved with whatever your child may be doing.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Having a healthy relationship w/ open communication w/ parent(s) & the children. Making sure the child feels safe talking/being around me. Due to the fact that I'm experienced working in daycares I have seen how some caretakers/teachers act & interact w/ children & honestly it made it so I would never put a child of mine into a daycare before my child could talk full sentences. I don't believe in daycares because of some of my past co-workers & seeing how lazy& how careless they were with young children. I promise I will provide you with peace of mind that your child will most definitely be okay in my care & be safe in my care. I can also promise you that I will protect him as if they were my own, which includes putting my life at risk if I needed too.
My experience with special needs children...
I have experience working with young adults from the ages of 17 to 25 with low spectrum and high spectrum autism. I'm very patient when it comes to a child with special needs due to the fact that they're sensitive they need extra care and attention and I know as a parent things get stressful especially dealing with a child with special needs 24/7. Especially if you're a single parent and having a special needs child that is so stressful at times I've seen more parents be stressed out to the point where they're not attending to their child correctly because they're so stressed out let me be that de-stressor for you & your family! 🙂
The most important part about being a nanny...
Watching a child grow into a respectful, caring young human. And knowing that I was part of the reason why that child grew up being a decent human being in this crappy world nowadays. 🙂

Full-Time Child Care Provider Available in Edmonds, WA: Regan J.
Hi! I'm a preschool teacher with several years of experience working with young children from toddlers to preschoolers. I am looking to transition into a nanny role where I can focus more deeply on one-on-one emotional development and connection. I have lots of experience, designing curriculum and catering education to specific children’s needs. Although I do have an education background with young children I'm especially passionate about children's emotional growth, helping regulate big feelings, and creating a nurturing environment where they feel safe and understood.
Babysitter Available in Edmonds, WA: Evan E.
Hi my name is Evan, I live in Edmonds and am looking for work. I have a 2 year old niece that I take care of all the time. I love to cook, build things, and do puzzles. I'm very active and into outdoor activities. Cleaning is no issue for me considering I own my own home and keep it very tidy. I babysat for many years growing up with children ages 4-14. These profiles don't show much unless you can actually meet in person or talk on the phone to see if I would be a good fit. Hope to hear from you soon.
