I’m currently earning my master in clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Oklahoma. I am looking to start sometime in May when I move to Tampa. During the month of May and August, I will be studying for the national counseling exam and wanting to find a full-time nanny job to help pay the bills! I have earned a bachelors in psychology, and have been a nanny for a family all throughout college. After being with them for five years, I am sad to leave yet excited to find a Family here in the Tampa Bay Area! 🩷
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
When I’m outside with kiddos here in Florida, I love keeping it fun and easy. We’ll explore nature trails, hunt for seashells at the beach, or have a picnic under the palm trees. On hot days, water balloon games or splash pads are perfect. We ride bikes around the neighborhood, blow bubbles in the sunshine, or draw with sidewalk chalk. Sometimes we visit a local playground or spot birds and lizards along the way. No matter what we do, being outside together always feels like an adventure.
My experience with special needs children...
Working with individuals who have special needs and doing art together has been a fun and meaningful experience. I enjoy how art gives everyone the freedom to be creative in their own way, without pressure or expectations. Whether we’re painting, drawing, or making simple crafts, it’s a great way to connect and build confidence. It’s not about creating something perfect — it’s about enjoying the process, trying new things, and having fun together.
