I volunteered with CASA: I was assigned 2 foster girls who I took out weekly to make sure they were in good hands while being their voice. I also volunteered for Forget Me Not Farm a beautiful program that helps troubled youths.

My experience with special needs children...
I work with children with red flags for Autism, and diagnosed autistic kiddos as well. My sister in law has Down syndrome and I use the same teaching and playing techniques as I do with my clients. I also am familiar with basic sign language and learning new words everyday.
