More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Relevant experience where I also cared for children includes my roles as a Nanny, Assistant Director, and Director in early childhood education settings. In these positions, I supported children of various ages through daily care, structured routines, educational activities, emotional support, meal preparation, and creating safe, nurturing environments. I also worked closely with families and staff to ensure children’s individual needs were being met while maintaining strong communication, organization, and consistency in both classroom and home settings.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy planning fun, engaging activities that support both creativity and learning. Some of my favorite activities to do with children include arts and crafts, sensory play, outdoor walks and park days, reading stories, music and dance time, imaginative play, baking simple treats together, and age-appropriate educational activities that encourage confidence and independence. I also love creating calm, structured routines while making everyday moments fun, whether that’s turning cleanup into a game or making snack time feel special. My goal is always to create a safe, positive environment where children feel supported, happy, and excited to learn and explore.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is creating a safe, supportive, and trusting environment where children feel loved, comfortable, and encouraged to grow. I believe being a nanny is about more than supervision. It’s about building meaningful relationships with children and families, providing consistency and reliability, and helping children feel confident, understood, and cared for each day. I also believe strong communication, patience, adaptability, and genuine compassion are essential in creating a positive and supportive experience for the entire family.
My experience with special needs children...
I have experience working with children with special needs in both school and nanny settings, where I’ve supported children with a variety of emotional, developmental, behavioral, and communication needs. Through my experience as an Assistant Director, Director, and caregiver, I’ve learned the importance of patience, consistency, adaptability, and creating supportive environments tailored to each child’s individual needs.
I’ve worked closely with families and teaching teams to help maintain routines, encourage social and emotional development, support transitions, and provide calm, nurturing care that helps children feel safe and understood. I understand that every child learns and communicates differently, and I always strive to approach each child with compassion, attentiveness, and encouragement while helping build their confidence and independence.

The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments was helping a shy child come out of their shell over time. When I first started with the family, they were very hesitant during drop-offs and struggled with confidence in new situations. I focused on building trust through consistency, encouragement, and creating fun little routines together each day. After a few months, their parents told me they noticed such a big difference in their confidence and independence, and one morning the child proudly walked into school and said, “I can do it myself now!” 🥹
It was such a rewarding reminder that the small, everyday moments of patience, support, and care can truly make a lasting impact on a child’s growth.
