I'm Miss Jacqueline, Optimistic, Energetic Nanny. I enjoy having fun while we learn. There is learning in everything we do. I give my full attention to the children so, they tend to like me quickly. I get my energy from them so it's a win-win job. I keep them busy with organic fun instead of TV or gaming devices. I'm not afraid to be silly. It shows my humility and builds trust.

Children's circumstances change and it's off to the next kind and honest family. I have great references. I have always enjoyed working with family pets.

I have worked with home schooled children. I will not sit in a chair and look at my cell phone the whole shift. I have strong energy for up to 5-6 hours per day, then I need to go home and rest. I work best late morning or after school, 4/5 days per week, 15-20 approx. hours per week. Alternatively, I am able to work over nights as long as the schedule does not include any day times hours as well on schedule.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Church every Sunday, babies getting ready to sit up till walking. I don't sit in chair with them the whole time unless they're upset. I will sit on the floor with them socializing, playing with toys, reading books, take them for a walk in their stroller, etc.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy creativity, crafts, projects, reading, experiments. I like building snow men, snow angels, snow balls. I follow the calendar with things to do. In Spring, I like planting flowers, vegetables, fuss over them watering and proper sunlight together. I like painting, beading. I like making forts out of household things. I like singing and dancing and creating props and theater stories.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Engaging with the children at all times no matter what we are doing. Finding solutions to problems when they come up. Remaining calm so they feel safe. The answer to their needs is always, "yes, let's do this" Safe of course.

My experience with special needs children...

I have 4 months with an IEP student at the Boys and Girls Club. I have 15 months as a residential DSP for autistic/disabled young adults.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Seeing them laugh and be silly while we learn new things. How their eyes open wide when when they learn something new. I get to go home every shift with my heart full of joy.
