As an assistant teacher it was so great to see your students progress over time. I’ve had students who cried for hours when dropped off & over time they learned that school wasn’t so bad after all. They’ll even smile and hug you when coming through the door after so long. I’ve learned that being a teacher/ Nanny / Caregiver is honestly all about patients.
