A little bit about me

Hello hello, my name is Jada and I'm a 20-year-old sitter who loves kiddos! Being the designated baby sitter for a big ole family, I have experience with almost every age of childhood and strive to help them to the best of my ability. I have a background in teaching for ages 6 weeks-18 months, where I've practiced establishing productive routines for kids. After gaining skills from working in a daycare I decided to pursue nannying which I also got to work with kids who have special needs. I'm now majoring in Early Childhood Education and hoping to nanny for a family while I finish my degree to help me stay in touch when caring for children. When sitting with new kids, I believe it's important to ask about what they're interested in whether that games, crafts or dance parties! Kids just want genuine attention and companionship, which I make my main philosophy when sitting. And when working for new families I hope to bring comfort and stability for not just the kids, the parents too :)

I think the most important part about being a nanny should be a fun time that the kids anticipate filled with games, laughs, and crafts all while being able to give that genuine attention & friendship.
