One of my favorite nanny moments in my life was when I helped a shy little boy learn to ride his bike without training wheels for the first time. He was so nervous at first, but after lots of cheering, and a few tries, he finally got it. Seeing his confidence grow in that moment and knowing I played a part in it reminded me why I love helping kids believe in themselves and celebrate every milestone.
