A little bit about me

Hello everyone! My passion for children and caring for others was always there since I was a kid, however became more intense when I volunteered for babysitting at my local church and a nursing home over the spans of 3 years. I loved caring for others so much that I am majoring in pre-nursing at the University of Nebraska at Lincoln!! I do great with children of special care and settle well with how your parenting is, I'm here for it all! One thing about me is I cannot sit still! I love going out and doing fun things like going to the park, swimming, or even arts and crafts! There will always be something to do even if it's a movie night!! I am super attentive to children as I know they can be a handful sometimes, so, I know how boring it can be to do the same things on repeat everyday especially as a kid! I’ve don’t volunteer work at my local church in Baton Rouge Louisiana. I moved to Nebraska for school, and ever since I’ve been volunteering at summer camps!

The impression I make on the kids. Impressions are everything. I want them to feel safe and comfortable and are able to speak freely with me. I’d want build a safe connection with them rather than me just be. “The babysitter” or “nanny”

My experience with special needs children...

I have cared for level 1 and level 2 autism. In both boys and girls💕

The most important part about being a nanny...

I watched twins mostly overnight since they were only a month old. Once they got a little older, I basically was a live in nanny, and watched them morning and night. I got to see them wing off bottles, getting their first tooth, start standing by themselves, and talking. All the milestones. The most memorable thing that happened with my time with them is when they were both said my name for the first time. I was so excited, except it wasn’t exactly my name, they said my middle name instead of my first. I took what I could get and ran with it. So now most of the kids I watch, i introduce myself as Faith instead of Jada, whichever sticks, I go by.
