More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I taught at high rated day care centers as a lead preschool and pre-k !
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love keeping kids busy with fun and creative activities, anything from arts and crafts and simple science experiments to playing outside, going on little nature walks, or having dance parties. I’m big on mixing learning with play, so we might do story time, hands-on games, or activities that get them thinking while still having a great time.
The most important part about being a nanny...
For me, the most important part of nannying is really connecting with the kids. When they trust you and feel comfortable, that’s when the fun, learning, and growth happen naturally. It’s about making them feel safe, heard, and cared for while keeping things fun and memorable.
My experience with special needs children...
While teaching at KinderCare, I had the privilege of working closely with a child with Down syndrome and a child with autism for a year, adapting activities to fit their needs while caring for a full class of 15. I built such a strong bond with the child with autism that his mom later invited me to provide care at home as well!
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments was one of the kiddos bringing home her family portrait she made from school to show me I was also on it “because I was part of her family too”. It warmed my heart so much to know she loves me as much as I love her 🤍
