When I lived with my aunt and two little cousins, the oldest, Esme, was going into kindergarten. One of her assignments was to think of her “real life hero” and explain why, with a drawing. When Esme came home she gave me a drawing with the printed words “My Hero” and under it in her barley legible hand writing said “Jaden, because she’s my best friend”
