I plan age-appropriate activities for the children. I am not only there for them as a trusted adult, but I am also treating them as the younger siblings I never had. My experience with special needs children...

I unfortunately lack with specific knowledge in special need children. I have worked with children that do not communicate verbally, as they were too young, and I have the patience to work with each child.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I had a cousin who was the nanny for two ten-year-old brothers who visited my parents’ cabin. I happen to take them out on my family’s jet ski with parents’ permission. Then we had a mud fight in swimming suits as it started to rain. They had so much fun they had a hard time leaving with my cousin.
