The most important part about being a nanny...
Being a nanny is really about building trust with the children you are caring for. If the child can't trust you or you don't prove yourself worthy- then it's kind of pointless being a little bit of a second or third parent to the children you care for. It's also really important to be there for the parents as well- building trust with the whole family.
My experience with special needs children...
I have some experience with children having partcipated in a non-benefit program where I would play games with children who have autism or down-syndrome.
