Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I cared for a 10 year old boy with low functioning autism for a couple months last summer. Most recently I was the nanny for a Burbank Family. My responsibilities included picking the kid up from school, taking him to therapy, to the park, making dinner, light cleaning, and bedtime routine. Aside from that there are two other families I babysit for as needed.

I love taking children out into nature! Personally, I love sharing my passion for the ocean (I am a novice surfer as well), swimming / water activities. Even just taking children on walks, or to museums, anywhere.

My experience with special needs children...
I have babysat for a 10 year old boy with low functioning autism for a couple months last summer. I also have two siblings with autism, one has low functioning and the other has high functioning. All of my experience has to do with children on the spectrum, but I have a big soft spot for any person with special needs!
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment so far was with my last family. After only a couple times of taking care of their son, when I arrived to his school to pick him up he ran up to me very excitedly. It made me happy that he felt so comfortable and enjoyed my presence.
