Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have over 10 years of experience working with children and currently work in an early childhood program with preschool-aged students. I am CPR and First Aid certified and am nearly finished with my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. I will be continuing my education by pursuing a Master’s degree in Counseling for Children. As a mother of two teenagers, I bring both professional and personal experience in providing a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for children.

I enjoy planning fun and engaging activities that help children learn and grow. Some of the activities I do with children include reading books, arts and crafts, sensory play, outdoor play, educational games, music and movement, and age-appropriate learning activities that support language, social, and motor skill development. I also encourage routines that promote kindness, independence, and confidence.

My experience with special needs children...

I have extensive experience working with children with special needs, including developmental delays, autism, ADHD, speech and language delays, and behavioral challenges. Over the past 10 years, I have supported children in both special education and early childhood settings. I use patience, consistency, and individualized strategies to help each child feel safe, supported, and successful while encouraging their social, emotional, and academic development.
