One of my favorite nanny moments was caring for a little one who was having a difficult day and didn’t want to participate in anything at first. I spent some time talking, playing, and doing simple activities with them until they started smiling and laughing. By the end of the day, they were having so much fun and didn’t want playtime to end. Seeing their mood completely change and knowing I helped them feel happy and comfortable was a really special moment for me.
