I also spent a semester during my senior year of high school volunteering at a women and children’s shelter/home and my main responsibility was taking care of the babies and toddlers while their moms were in weekly parenting classes.

My experience with special needs children...
I haven’t specifically cared for a special needs child on a routine basis, but I grew up with special needs classmates and one of my friends from high school had her daughter VERY early and she has some disabilities because of that. So I do have some experience helping with special needs individuals, just not specifically caring for them as far as a nannying role goes.
