Over the years, I’ve had many fun and memorable moments with the children I’ve cared for such as turning a rainy afternoon into an indoor “camping adventure” complete with blanket forts and flashlight stories, hosting imaginative tea parties with stuffed animal guests who always have very strong opinions, and discovering that broccoli can magically become “tiny trees” that kids are suddenly excited to eat\. I’ve learned that a little creativity goes a long way in making everyday routines enjoyable and meaningful.
