I have worked in multiple daycares. 3 of them have been licensed daycare facilities where I have cared for primarily infants. I have also worked in a licensed home daycare caring for children ages 0-12years old. I have babysat for friends and family. I also worked at an organization working with kids ages 0-21 that have disabilities. I have a wide variety of experience!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Some activities that I like to enjoy with the kids is sensory play, reading books, music time, making projects. If old enough, going to the park and playing outside.
My experience with special needs children...
I have cared for multiple children with special needs; down syndrome, GI tubes, separation and anxiety issues, speech impediment, physical disabilities and emotional and behavioral difficulties.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment was every morning when I would walk in the front door and they would run to me and give me a hug! Another one of my favorite nanny moments was watching one of the children take their first steps!
