I worked at boehm in palm desert for about a year and now I’m currently working at tot stop daycare, I also have five siblings, 3 which are under the age of 10, and one with a daughter who is under 5. Most of my family I babysit for and that’s what gave me the idea! I also have helped a lot of my daycare kids after leaving the center to give them a babysitter they trust.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I really enjoy being outside with the littles! I’m a firm believer that kids need to be outside to regulate their behavior. I absolutely love water play with them especially when it’s super hot outside. It helps them get tired and also interested for a good minute. I love to color and doing work sheets with the kiddos to practice how to hold art supplies like a pen or pencil, markers, and or crayons. My favorite thing to do with the kids is to play an interactive game that they can remember like hide and seek, or tag just something we both can enjoy and also learn to have a good time! I love to pour my soul into kids so teaching them without a screen is always my first option, I’m a firm believer in no screen time but if you prefer I will obviously do as you need!

The most important thing about being a nanny is being able to connect with a family. I think it’s really beneficial for a child when there’s a good connection with the parents! I love to make a good relationship between me and the parents so I can farther help and feel at home with your babies.

My favorite moments with the kids are when they run to my legs and give them a huge hug! It means the world to me. I live for all the little voices saying Ms.jasmine!
