My experience teaching students with autism has been very rewarding. One student, Jamie, loved to draw and often expressed himself through art. I learned to communicate with Jamie by using visual aids, which helped him feel more comfortable in class. We worked together on projects that focused on his interests, and I noticed he gained confidence and made friends. This experience taught me the importance of patience and understanding in helping special needs children thrive.
