I am currently a paramedic, so have done some pretty extensive medical care for kids! Helping little ones and their families through scary situations is a challenging yet rewarding job.

I'm am pretty versatile myself and enjoy going on walks, hikes and bike riding. On rainy days i love to stay indoors and work of different art projects/crafts.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Listening to the child. Even if the child is unable to speak, kids have a way of telling us what they want so i think its important to listen or try to understand there is communication happening.
My experience with special needs children...
Like i said previously, I am a paramedic so i have had experience with stable disabilities and also life threatening/altering disabilities. I am very adaptable and with the right communication with the care team, i become comfortable quickly.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite moment was teaching a 7 year old to roller state. I loved watcher her eye light up when she realized she could skate on her own without holding my hand.
