A little bit about me

I currently attend school to receive my CDA through Procare solutions. I was often called on to babysit for family and friends due to my natural nurturing aura with children of all ages. I have 6 years and counting of working with children in a professional setting. I was employed at the YMCA as a summer/after school Counselor for three years. My responsibilities included schedule creation and maintenance, activity planning,
and child supervision, I then worked in a daycare facility as a Teacher’s Assistant where my focus was on toddlers. During that time,I gained experience in preparing meals with dietary restrictions and teaching and performing age appropriate activities such as lap play, reading, and arts and crafts to encourage intellectual development.
My favorite part of working with children is building a bond with the families and lending a helping hand towards the maturity of each child. I love witnessing the individual growth of each child into their own person.
