A little bit about me

My name is Jaylen Salazar I have a high passion for child care. I started off babysitting when I was 13 years old and have had experience with all ages 0-11 months and up. I worked in daycare at 18 years old and got CPR and First aid certified. Since then I have pursued a career in health care, I worked in pediatrics as a certified medical assistant during my rotation and I worked in Dermatology for 2 years. I enjoy caring for children and helping with daily activities while also being able to throw in some age appropriate teaching lessons since I have experience making lesson plans from my time working in daycare. I have a very enthusiastic and out going personality, I'm very calm and patient especially when it comes to children. I have grown up with a lot of children in the family. As the oldest in my family I have looked after many children. I find it best to have a great balance between education and fun activities as it helps develop children's minds and teaches them good habits.
