A little bit about me

Hello, my name is Jayonna.
I am currently in my third year at Wright State University, pursuing a degree in Elementary Education. I have always had a strong passion for working with children and strive to support families by making parents' lives a little easier and more manageable.
As the second oldest of ten siblings, I have been caring for children from a young age, which has given me a natural understanding of child development and family dynamics. In addition to my personal experience, I have over four years of professional childcare experience through various positions in high school and at childcare centers.
I would be absolutely thrilled to have the opportunity to babysit and provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for your children.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment where children can grow, learn, and feel valued

My experience with special needs children...

I have experience caring for children with a range of special needs, including cerebral palsy, autism spectrum disorder, and ADHD. I am patient, attentive, and committed to creating a supportive and inclusive environment that meets each child's unique needs.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite moments as a nanny was helping a child who was struggling with his homework. We dedicated time each day for a full week to practice and study together. When I returned the following week, he proudly came home with a B+ on his assignment. It was incredibly rewarding to see his confidence grow and to know I played a part in his success. Moments like that reinforce why I love working with children and supporting their development both academically and emotionally.
