Outdoor activities! I love taking kids outdoors ranging from the park to even just playing make believe in a backyard. I love it when kids have a pet they like to play with.
Movies! I love making an event of watching children's favorite movies, setting up forts and making fun snacks to enjoy!
Indoor Activities! Things like dress up, hide-and-seek, dancing, etc etc.

Active Listening! I truly believe it is so important for children to feel like they're being heard, even if it's just babble. Talking to children is a very underrated part of the job! It helps create trust with the kids and really creates a safe space for the child. I like to really hear what a child's thoughts and opinions or questions are and holding as genuine conversations as possible!
My experience with special needs children...
I have cared for one girl who was on the spectrum for autism on the more severe scale. I watched her and her epileptic sister most mornings while her mother worked a summer job!
The most important part about being a nanny...
Seeing the kids again after breaks. I often nannied over summers so coming back and seeing how much they remembered and how happy there were to see me was always so rewarding. :)
