I have been a babysitter to children. So far the most amount of children I have watched so far would be 7 children at a time. I have watch a child that was special needs. Also I have been a peer mentor by being a mentor to three children at a time.

I love seeing what the children love to do. But I have helped make lava lamps with them, making a boat, snow glob, etc.

The most important part of being a nanny would be listening to the children and seeing what they are willing to do. It is important to make things fun for the children and also education for them too.
My experience with special needs children...
The time that I have watched a special needs child was let them do what they wanted meaning if they wanted to play with a toy and let them set it up how they wanted. Ask them permission if you can join in with them (so that they know that you are willing to help them.)
The most important part about being a nanny...
I think the most memorable moment was when I was in Australia and helped the oldest child with making a boat out of cardboard. He was so excited and he keep it with him for a long time.
Another one was when the child that I was watching started to walk with me. she took her few steps with me and we got her mother to come and see. It was so great because she went to her mother and then walked to me.
