More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was in ECE in a school/ daycare setting. I would help with school work, prepare lunches/ snacks, prepare games etc. I was also in the “Buddies” program during my senior year mentoring elementary students where we were able to connect and do fun arts and crafts.

I love arts and crafts, playing/ listening to songs, playing games, being outside, reading

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think the most important part is being there. Showing the children that I am actually there for them whether it is playing with them, helping them, feeding them. Kids love and need people they can depend on, and that is my goal to achieve.

My experience with special needs children...

I have been in daycare/school/home settings with children that have speech needs, autism, reading disabilities. These children are the reasons I have so much love for child care. Everything is made brighter, especially helping them and seeing the success, or simply playing games.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite moments from my experiences always include being there for the kids and making that connection. I realized through my years of learning that the connection is important and it makes it easier for the child to come to you with needs and etc. The lit up faces when playing games or reading a funny book is always the best outcome.
