A little bit about me

As the "spinster auntie" of a large family, I have raised 8 nieces and nephews. I was Resident Director of Operations for The Children's House at Johns Hopkins Hospital. I have worked with children with Down Syndrome, kids on the spectrum, kids with behavioral challenges, and children with physical and medical challenges and life-threatening conditions. I am well-versed in special diets, and specialize in gluten-free, whole foods plant based meal preparation. I love getting kids involved in the kitchen! I spent four and a half years as a twin nanny with supplemental home-schooling w/focus on art, music, literature, languages and science. I also babysat for several families in the same "Twin Moms" group, being highly recommended by word-of-mouth. I worked for an after-school program at St. Thomas More Catholic School in Baton Rouge, LA as an art and STEM instructor. I was lead counselor at KidCam in Baton Rouge, where every day included arts/crafts, music ,STEM, & nature exploration.
