Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

While I have not worked as a teacher or nurse, my most meaningful hands-on childcare experience comes from raising my two children. This experience has taught me patience, responsibility, consistency, and how to adapt care as children grow through different developmental stages. I have also strengthened my childcare knowledge through professional training with the American Red Cross, including Advanced Child Care Training and Adult & Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED. I am committed to continuing my education and growing professionally in childcare.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I believe activities should always be based on a child's age, interests, and developmental stage. I enjoy spending quality time with children, following their natural curiosity and turning everyday moments into opportunities for learning and fun. Depending on the child, this might include reading, crafts, imaginative play, puzzles, age-appropriate educational activities, outdoor walks, playground time, or exploring nature. My goal is to introduce new learning experiences in a fun and natural way, so that playtime doesn't feel like a lesson.

The most important part about being a nanny...

For me, the most important part of being a nanny is earning a family’s trust while ensuring their child feels safe, loved, respected, and understood. I believe caring for a child is so much more than just supervising them. It’s about being present, supporting their development and independence, fostering their curiosity, and creating a positive environment where they can learn and grow at their own pace. As a mother, I understand how precious peace of mind is to a parent, and I want every family I work with to have the confidence that their child is in responsible and loving hands.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite things about raising my children has been watching them discover something new for the first time. I love those little moments when a child finally learns something they have been trying to do and immediately looks for you with a big smile, proud of themselves. Those moments remind me that caring for children is not only about keeping them safe, but also about being present, encouraging them, and celebrating the little achievements that are so important to them.
