Hi! My name is Jenna, I'm 24 years old and a mom to a 3-year-old. I have worked with children for over 7 years. I have been an occasional babysitter, I had an in-home daycare for a little over 3 years and have been a nanny for multiple families. I have experience working with up to 5 children. Besides my son, I have cared for other children between the ages of 2 months - 5 years. I am comfortable with pets in the home and am a non smoker. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I owned a home daycare for 3 years, have been an occasional babysitter, a full time nanny and a mother’s helper. I have also helped coach in youth soccer as a volunteer, been a volunteer reader for the children’s library and worked as postpartum support.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

My favorite indoor activities include creative play like creating play scenes (pirate ships or castles) as well as arts and crafts to expand the imagination. When the weather allows I love letting the kids get messy outside and explore the nature around them. One of my favorite personal activities is baking so if the children are interested, I love having them in the kitchen!

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part of being a nanny would be being able to support each family in the unique way that they need. Being able to help parents in certain areas but also learning from them and their child is something I look forward to. Having a connection with the child is also important for supportive play and learning.

My experience with special needs children...

I have worked with multiple children with varying abilities including extra communication, sensory and feeding needs. I am always open to learning about any way I can support children and let them thrive in their own way!

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite moments with kids are when their discovery they CAN do something. I love working their little minds and watching them learn on their own terms. Seeing how proud they are when they are able to be independent is the best! I love being able to enable them to do things themselves:)
