A little bit about me

My my is Jenna. I am 24 years old and have 3 years combined experience (2 years paid + 1 volunteer) working with children and young adults between 5-18 yrs in a paid, classroom setting. I have worked part-time as an Art Teacher/TA in non-profit and school settings. While in my last semester of my online B.A. program, I am looking to assist a family in caring for little ones. I have always had an affinity for a child's curiosity, and seek to nurture that. As a caretaker, I prioritize: positive socialization (using manners, understanding healthy boundaries, asking for help when needed, positive reinforcement) cognitive development (encouraged to problem solve, be curious and expressive) I feel comfortable in getting ready, assisting for remote school, light tutoring, meal prep, monitoring walks/outdoor time. I would prefer not to transport children to-and-from school, though negotiable. *Because I do have evening classes, I will be occupied from 3-6pm. I look forward to hearing from you!
