I was an ECE for three years, as well as a camp counselor. i also have my substitute certification and have taught k-12.

sensory activities, all sports, bike rides, pool/beach days, creative activities, library days, and whatever else the children/parents have in mind, I try to stay active as much as I can!
The most important part about being a nanny...
for me personally, it would be having fun and making sure the children like me and are comfortable with me, BUT being safe while doing so. I want the parents as well to never have to worry when their children are with me. childcare is scary, and I totally get that! I want to always be on the same page as parents and make sure the children's needs are always being met.

I have student teaching experience with severely autistic children.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment was when i went on vacation with two families who have four children combined. It felt so good to be trusted with pool/beach activities, as well as being trusted doing bed time routine by myself while the parents were able to enjoy themselves. being taken into a family and being so comfortable is a great feeling, and happens overtime so naturally.
