Hi, I’m Jenna, Im 17 years old and a senior in high school. I want to work as a babysitter or nanny to get through EMT/Fire classes. I enjoy being outside and being active, or even spending a day inside doing arts and crafts, watching a good Disney classic, etc. I love to cook, and I’m careful to take in potential allergies children may have when meal prepping. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was a babysitter for my local neighborhood, colleagues, and family members. I also volunteered with kids who where in special needs, helping them learn how to read and write.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy doing a lot of activities with children, both indoors and out. Some of them include:

Outside activities: Bike riding, swimming, going on walks, outdoor arts in crafts like playing with chalk, outdoor games like tag or hide and seek, and doing nature activities.

Indoor activities: baking, indoor arts and crafts, cleaning(it’s fun to me), playing board games, card games, puzzles, building forts.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think some of the most important parts of being a many are making sure the child is the number one priority and they are being well taken care of physically, emotionally, and mentally. While making sure they are have fun, but staying safe as well. Respecting the parents and their wishes, while also meeting there expectations they have for me.

My experience with special needs children...

I have family experience with children with special needs. I’ve taken care of my brother and nephews many times, both of which have autism. I also have classroom experience as a volunteer, who taught special needs children how to read and write.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite moment was when I took a kid I was babysitting trick-or-treating. I really enjoyed seeing the smile on his face as he got candy, and saw all the other cool costumes. It was a really great bonding moment between me and the kid.
