The most important part about being a nanny...
Seeing them grow and be able to gain their own independence and seeing them thrive! I love being apart of their lives whether that’s from helping with school, pretend playing to going to their sporting events, I’m all for it!
My experience with special needs children...
When I was doing my practicum, I worked really closely with a special needs kid who I did a lot of one on one activities with, along with the child I am a DSP for, he is such a sweetheart. I am pretty close knit with the disabled community.
The most important part about being a nanny...
When a kid I was working with, who did not speak at the time of employment, said “Essa” in attempt to say my name. Cutest thing ever, worked with him for months on his communication progression.
