Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Yes I was a preschool teacher at a school in Howard County I got Pre-K and then I thought infants and toddlers. I felt Pre-K at a preschool call the Children's Center and then years later after my first Nanny job I unfortunately went back to Murrieta preschool call The Young School which is a small chain of very expensive preschools in Howard County and I wasn't even there the year before I was offering another in any position for this beautiful little girl named Addison who was in my class and I have been watching overheard a few nights a week and on the weekend. This is actually the nanny position I had that paid for me to continue my education which is where I received my 45 hour and 90 hour certifications and my 9 hour communication study. Also started taking classes such as child psychology and food and nutrition and the family I was working for we're so happy to pay for any schooling that was furthering my education and knowledge of children.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Omg where to begin. depeding on the ages of your children and the weather, outdoor activities are my favorite and I have found there's nothing that children want to do other than be outside playing whether it's just taking a walk I'm running around in the backyard playing tag learning a sport from me just getting some good exercise and fresh air and sunshine, and I say all the kids that have worked with feel the same way even the babies whether we're playing tag in the backyard, outdoor treasure hunts playing at a playground or in the middle of a sandbox. and of course bike riding and rollerblading scooters etc I have tons of energy it takes a lot to wear me out and I'm just a very energetic person but at the same time I'm very creative and can think of a thousand things to do inside puzzle is dancing music drawing arts and crafts but anything that I never doing the children always using my best judgment and making sure that we are safe! Again always learning what kids love to do

The most important part about being a nanny...

So for me the most important part about being a nanny is first and foremost is trust/safety reliability good communication is imperative. The safety of children, making sure they feel lovedloved and safe w me.. also that mom n dad trust me to be there to keep their kids safe and happy and smiling. But it's much more, it's making a connection and bond with them as well. talking to and listening letting them know I'm always there for them.course also the parents to feel comfortableand at ease knowing their kids 's are in the best of hands with someone who is very reliable and trustworthy. I know from experience how hard it can be to find the perfect person to bring into your home to watch over your babies and so trust is crucial. I do also think it's imperative to keep communication with parents and and using my best judgements when letting them know if something bad or really bad has happened. sending pics videos updates throughout the day. I'm here to help make your lives easier 😊

My experience with special needs children...

I've cared for children that I've had severe a d h d also I work with a girl who had a stroke when she was a baby and we have constantly work on my speech and physical therapy. And there have been children diagnosed with mild autism that I have had the pleasure to work with and help them with communication and speech and just different things that the school would have us Implement in our curriculum that we would do with any special needs children. I don't have extensive experience working with children with special needs but I certainly I have worked with him over the years at a preschool and in the home setting.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I truly cannot say I have one favorite however there are definitely about 5 favorite moments one is where I was able to work with this little boy everyday he struggled with dyslexia and we worked many things but writing his name was important and when he was finally able 2 write it we were crying happy tears together I never forget that another time where I I was nannying for a child named Michael and he was very into anything outdoors and I single-handedly taught him how to ride his bike and the day we removed his training wheels I was actually away on vacation with his family at Rehoboth Beach and we were in walking distance of the boardwalk, it was a huge thunderstorm that came through about 10min so ppl left the boardwalk area,I said lets still do that bike ride on the Boardwalk which you have all 2yourself let's see what you got wo those trainingwheels. He agreed and instant Pro! He yelled I love you Miss Jenny I was in tears love u 2buddy you're doing so great like I knew u would
