More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I've taken care of my nephew and nieces mostly playing games with them and I love teaching them how to build skills such as empathy, communication, motor, curiosity, and creativity. (2-10).

I've also worked at an internship at an elementary school a lot (if not all) of the kids liked me. (pre-k - 5th grade). I mostly taught them how to communicate effectively when a situation arises. I've hung out with them during their recess and helped with homework.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

The activities I loved to do with kids is playing (video games, barbies, dress-up, dollhouse, sports, drawing), going on walks, talking, singing, dancing, strolling, eating, watching tv, listening to music, etc
I make sure to study the kid's hobbies and interests.

The most important part about being a nanny...

is not only about being a caregiver for these children, but also being a protector, a teacher, a friend, a sibling, a consoler. It's being all those things at once. Being able to be all those for the kids is the most crucial part of being a nanny and arguably the best part.

My experience with special needs children...

Not Children but I do have a friend that is neurodivergent. I made sure to look up and understand neurodivergence. I've learnt a lot from my friend about neurodivergence although I'm still learning about it. I'm willing to also learn ASL and about other special needs to provide help.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My nephew (6 years old) and my niece (2 years old) were quiet, and we were sitting on the couch together they both were leaning on me. My nephew was playing with video game, and I was telling him what he should do to win, and I was cradling my niece she was asleep. This moment makes me emotional when I think about it.
